Welcome to the Dakota Community Historical Society web site:

 The community hall is located 16 kms west of Ponoka on Highway 53 to Rimbey, north on Dakota Road (RR 273) approx 7 kms.

The Dakota Community Historical Society manages both the hall and church.  The Church has been designated as a Municipal Historic Site and the hall is now a community building.

The small hall has many activities taking place especially during the winter months - it is a great way to get to know your neighbors and have some fun.

This site is designed to help you know what is going on and how you can help to keep this hall active.
